When you create a Tradesman Bench account, we collect your name, email address, trade type, and country. When you use the app, we store the business data you create — including clients, invoices, estimates, job logs and business settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide the Tradesman Bench service. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your business data (clients, invoices, etc.) is private and only accessible by you.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure hosted in the Americas region. All data is encrypted in transit (SSL) and at rest. We implement row-level security so each user can only access their own data.

4. Payment Processing

Subscription payments are processed by Dodo Payments. We do not store your card details on our servers. All payment information is handled by Dodo Payments in accordance with their privacy policy.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies only to maintain your login session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time. To request data deletion, contact us at [email protected]. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.

By creating an account and using Tradesman Bench, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Tradesman Bench is a business management platform for tradespeople. It provides tools for invoicing, estimating, job scheduling, client management and reporting. The service is provided on a subscription basis.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months. Free trials are available as stated on the pricing page.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Tradesman Bench for lawful business purposes only. You must not use the platform to create fraudulent invoices, store illegal content, or engage in any activity that violates applicable laws.

5. Your Data

You own all data you create in Tradesman Bench. We do not claim ownership of your client data, invoices, or business information. You are responsible for the accuracy of your invoices and business records.

6. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

Tradesman Bench is provided as a tool to assist your business. We are not responsible for tax, legal or financial decisions made using the platform. Always consult a qualified professional for tax and legal advice.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of significant changes. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Built by a tradesman, for tradespeople

My name is Jonathan Henry. I have spent the last 23 years working as a tradesman, and I know this industry from the ground up. The early starts, the back-to-back jobs, the invoices scribbled on scraps of paper, and the clients who want a quote before you have even packed your tools away. I have lived those challenges every single day, and so have thousands of tradespeople just like me around the world.

Tradesman Bench was born out of frustration. Most business software is designed for office workers sitting behind a desk, not for someone up on a roof, under a sink, or halfway through a rewire. The tools that did exist were either too expensive, too complicated, or just not built with our way of working in mind. I wanted something that worked the way we actually work: fast, simple, and mobile-first.

Today, Tradesman Bench gives independent tradespeople everything they need to run a professional business, from invoicing and estimates to job scheduling, time tracking, client management and AI-powered estimating, all in one place at a price that makes sense.
